Sula is named after the woman who keeps Betty Belts organized in Bali. She is a remarkable woman who has gone into business on her own in a male dominated society, yet kept the Balinese traditions alive at the same time. It is an honor to support her and other women we work with in Bali by giving them our business. We want to support that.
This design is a popular Balinese artisan design that can be found in many shops around the Island. We made our version of it with antiqued ceramic beads (joined in the middle by sustainable wood beads) in colors that complement today's wardrobe. This lariat is a big customer favorite
due to its versatility and natural, almost ethnic, yet very elegant style. Sula is not just a great belt,
it is also a necklace that can be worn wrapped or tied several different ways. Anyone can wear this! |
