All Girls Surf Camp with Mary OsborneCome join the fun this summer and learn to surf or improve your skills with Betty Belts Team Rider and pro surfer Mary Osborne. You may know Mary as the longboard winner of MTV Surf Girls, or from hosting 54321 and other shows on Fox Sports and Fuel TV.
All ages are welcome at Mary's Surf camp, where you will learn about the ocean, surf ettiquette, our environment and gain surfing skills and fun memories that will never be forgotten! Classes will be divided by age and skill level with an approx. 4:1 instructor to student ratio. All female professional instructors (including Betty Belts Team Rider Jeanette Ortiz) are CPR certified and highly respected in our local waters. This is guaranteed to be a week you will never forget!

2006 C Street Longboard ClassicBetty Belts is sponsoring The C Street Longboard Classic contest, September 16th and 17th, 2006 in Ventura. The event is a fund-raiser for the re-establishment of the C-Street surfing museum. This event is open to amateur surfers of all ages, men and women. Come visit the Betty Belts booth! 2006 Nor Cal Women's Surf FestNor Cal Women's Surf Fest, sponsored by Betty Belts and so many others is coming up! The NorCal Women's Surf Club is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to celebrating women's surfing in Northern California. They support a community of over 650 women surfers who include short boarders and long boarders, experts and beginners. They support the growing local interest in surfing among women and give back to our surf community by raising money for our local Surfrider Foundation chapters, SurfAid and beach restoration projects. Betty Belts is happy to help out the folks at Goleta Family School in their annual Earth Day Celebration with several gorgeous accessories sets we contributed to their silent auction.
In honor of Earth Day and the school's commitment to the environment, all activities will have an earth-friendly theme. Children will have the opportunity to play and create art using recycled and biodegradable materials. Local vendors and environmental groups will be on hand to inform and educate. In addition, there will be live entertainment, food and drinks, vendor booths, and a raffle. There will be a silent auction with items donated by local and national businesses that know the importance of education and want to support local children. The proceeds will benefit the school and help provide positive learning experiences for the children.
Founded 28 years ago, Goleta Family School is a tuition-free, K-6 program offered by the Goleta Union School District as an alternative to the traditional school programs. To learn more about our school go to our web site at www.goletafamilyschool.org.
This is a family event open to the general public. We encourage carpooling and biking. Admission is free.
T&C Surf Women's Pipeline ProBetty Belts is again sponsoring the T&C Surf Women's Pipeline Pro in 2006. Due to the enormous support and interest from last year's inaugural contest, this year's T&C Surf Women's Pipeline Pro has been upgraded and officially recognized as a one-star ASP event. The contest will also showcase an official Women's Bodyboarding World Tour and Longboard events. This year's T&C Surf Women's Pipeline Pro will also have a two-week waiting period between March 1st - 14th, focusing up to three days of competition. "I'm so excited to have more time and hopefully better waves for these girls," says contest director, Betty Depolito. "This event is definitely stepping up the level of women's surfing!"
