Wirata explains the logistics of the sedimentation system to Donna while they stand above the underground structure. This grassroots pilot project designed to reduce effluent from a cottage industry textile dyer near Ubud, Bali using only locally sourced materials. Donna financed and initiated this project together with Wirata to make a reality of the idea that a system could be devised that small scale manufacturers could build without the need for expensive hi tech gadgets.
