Where do you live now? East Side, Santa Cruz.
What's your sign? Scorpio.
When did you start surfing? I started surfing in junior lifeguards in junior high. But I really started going all the time my sophomore year of college... So much fun!!!
Where do you love to surf most? Well... I used to surf the Hook all the time it is such an awesome wave , but now I am really starting to discover how many killer waves we have in town and up north and stuff. So I am liking a lot of places right now.
Who taught you to surf? Well, I took one lesson with Richard Schmidt, after that I was pretty much on my own. I feel like in the past couple years I have received a lot of feedback from my shaper way more than I had in the basic learning years.
Why do you love to surf? Hmmmm...water...sun...traveling...friends...hotties...I think that could do it... I know if I don't surf for a few days I get a little out of whack. It's best is when you get to surf like every day and everyone you love is out and the waves are a pumpin'.
If you could only take three CDs on a desert island, which would you choose? Well...Van Morisson is one of my all-time staples, and if I go down that road then I would have to say Bob Marley is a staple too... then I think I would also have to have my Italian love songs on my Mob Hits CD...Which has like Louie Prima, Al Martino, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and the one and only Annette Funicello...Those are all CDs that have been my favorites over the years and never get old with me. I can listen to them over and over again.
Which board would you take? My new 5'11' rip stick that Carl Olsen just made me it is my new love....
Which three books? 1.The Bible 2.A Bill Cosby book 3.Some classic, not sure which one, maybe Moby Dick, my dad's favorite.
How big was the biggest wave you ever rode? I would guess 10 ft...But who knows, it always feels bigger when you are on it you know?
What's your kookiest moment in the water? Oh boy, I have kookiest moments every day... Seriously, one day I will learn to put my weight on my back foot, and then we will be all good... Kookiest moments are flailing in front of all the boys.
Which is your favorite Betty Belt? I would have to say as of right this moment Anthea. And I love, love, love the new bracelet "Kia"..
