Over the years since Day One, Betty Belts has given numerous donations to fundraisers in support of several Surfrider Foundation chapters.
When they ask, she finds a way to give.
But Donna is particularly focused on giving back to the Watershed Project of her local Surfrider Chapter www.surfrider.org/ventura which is doing amazing things which you can read about here on the Venturaecosystem Blog by Surfrider Ventura Environmental Director Paul Jenkin.

East Bali Poverty Project
Donna gives a major portion of her 1% of ALL sales to help impoverished citizens in rural parts of Bali improve their standard of living while protecting and nurturing the environment. A classic win-win. East Bali Poverty Project helps people and planet by empowering illiterate and malnourished children through relevant education, improved nutrition and basic stay healthy principles, reducing poverty and promoting culturally sensitive sustainable development in impoverished rural communities that have little or no choice to alleviate their own plight.
Another major focus of EBPP is to harness human and natural resources for mutual benefit by the reforestation of land devastated by the massive eruption of Mt. Agung in 1963 which denuded thousands of hectares. To improve the living ecosystmens, provide a sustainable food forest for the thousands of people, provide sustainable livelihoods for present and future, and ensure rain water is captured and conserved for the benefit of the land nature ecosystems and most of all the people.
